Mothers.

 

 

It all started with reading reports from the Chechen war.

 

 

 

And then I drew my face.

 

 

 

It was the end of 1994 - the first Chechen campaign.

 

 

 

Then I was looking for an image of the hero of the future picture.

 

 

Then I met with several veterans of the Chechen war and depicted their portraits
